It’s FINALLY here, the NBA Playoffs.
Not only is it here, but my NY Knicks are back!
I went to the last Knicks playoff game in 2004 at Madison Square Garden and it was bittersweet.
The Knicks lost the game and the series, but I was glad to be at a Knicks home playoff game with some of the most RABID fans in the NBA. Home Sweet Home.
Funny enough, I got to chance to cheer up the one and only filmmaker Spike Lee was he left the arena dejected. Literally, I just shouted to him as he walked by, that I understand the pain. Then we went our separate ways. I’m sure he still remembers.
Well, it’s a new day, a new year and a WHOLE new Knicks. Same old Shel.
I am currently watching the Knicks v Bah-ston Celtics praying for a different result.
