Lisa + Brad | Barrie Wedding

In Weddings by Sheldon

The rush that I get on the day of a wedding shoot is incredible. I pack my gear, make sure memory cards are empty and my bag of snacks is full. I anticipate all of the shots I am going to take and then it happens. Life interrupted. For Lisa and Brad’s wedding, I was making my drive to Barrie Ontario and BANG, traffic snarl!

As the saying goes, you have the entire fight worked out until you get that first punch in the face.

Turns out that after sweating and driving as close as humanly possible to the legal land speed I made it to the venue on time.  Wow.  I was more stressed about shooting their engagement photography with their horse Avorah than this wedding.  Thank God I had this obstacle averted.

The church was huge and the Bride to be got ready in a mobile dressing room.  Brad and Lisa agreed to do a first look before the wedding.  I shot a sequence of photos of the Bride to be creeping up on the Groom to be to get the look on his face the first time he sees her in the dress.

Here is some photos from the wedding day.  Started off a bit stressful, but easily was one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve ever shot!  Congratulations Lisa and Brad.
