Yes, I knew I was recording a video today, and yet I still didn’t shave. I didn’t come prepared. So my Tuesday Tip for you is to make sure, especially the men, is to come to your photoshoot prepared!

Fellas, you want to make sure you show up to your photoshoot looking your best. When you come in for a headshot session, I’m only shooting your torso and the top of your head. So I gotta be able to know that you look your best. It’s a close-up shot and I want to make sure I get you in the best light that I can.

I can and have had to photoshop fix patchy beards and wild hair but it’s easier for everyone involved to take the time to show up well groomed.

So yes, I SHOWED UP UNPREPARED, and me having to resort to hiding my face on video is the result of it, but that doesn’t mean you are allowed to.

When you book your photoshoot make sure that your face is cleaned up, your hair is lined up, your sideburns are neatly trimmed, or shave it all off if that is your style
