Rain rain go away…
I sang this song in my head as I drove from my home with my truck packed with gear I needed for last weekend’s engagement shoot with Jay & Tracy. The rain drops were beating down on my windshield as I mentally scrambled to figure out a Plan B to salvage today’s shoot. God has been good this entire wedding season with respect to the weather. Many days my photo partner Navy Nhum and I worried about how we plan to shoot weddings on overcast days but the clouds ALWAYS seemed to vanish at the perfect time. Like God just shooed the rain clouds away .
This day seemed worse than anything than I’ve seen. I gulped when I looked at my iPhone and saw the Groom to be’s number 30 minutes before the shoot. Was he cancelling?!?!?! Noooooooooo. Nope, he just called to ask me what I wanted from Tim Horton’s to drink! Perfect. Why did I even doubt. And I got nothing because I’m not a coffee junkie like most of y’all. IF there was Reeses flavoured coffee we would have a problem.
I rolled up to Edward’s Gardens in Toronto and the rain slowly slowed up. By the time we left our first location, the rain was practically non-existent! Sweet victory! So my high school buddy and his Fiancée were able to have a great shoot! I was again reminded that true faith is present when you don’t get fooled by what your human eyes see. God has taken care of me before and I have to believe He will again.
I’ll post more shortly but here are 2 sneaks!
