Natalie & Warren | Toronto Wedding

In Weddings by Sheldon

The unpredictability of a wedding day is what can make it interesting.

The Groom getting lost, the hot sun, eyelashes getting caught in the veil, being extremely late, dirty rental vehicles, missing Groomsmen oh wait, that was MY wedding.  Back then I wasn’t the Photosapien so I didn’t know or really care about wedding photos. Can you imagine?  I just wanted to eat food, see friends and smooch with my lady infront of a bunch of people!

I shot this wedding as 2nd Shooter for Navy Nhum Photography and we encountered some bumps that come along with a wedding day. The unexpected portions of the day actually helped us as the Photographers.  We first got kicked out of the Bride’s hotel lobby at the Hyatt Park in Toronto as we were shooting the dress.  Navy & I ended up finding another spot in the hotel that proved to be amazing.  Next, parking spots at the church were a little hard to come by. I know I know, how does this help us as Photographers? Well I don’t know, but we had to get creative with squeezing the car in a tight spot.  Parking practice makes the world a better place non?  We lucked out on the sun being in the perfect position to where we were on Cumberland Street.  We dodged moving Lamborghinis  & Mercedes Benz trucks as we posed the Bridal Party on the popular street.  A fire truck made a surprise appearance and let us take some photos. Don’t worry, it’s not like they were busy.  The last unexpected item of the day was that no celebrities showed up to the well known Sassafraz Restaurant where the majority of the venue was reserved for the wedding.

Here are some photos from the day.
