For my first post of the new year, I thought I’d try something completely differnet. Something outlandish. Something brave and not ever seen before on this blog, that’s right, I posted photos first before writing a thing! Â This could change the way the Photosapien writes blog posts forever!
Anyway.
I shot 2 very traditional weddings this year and I think that this is part of what I love about being a wedding Photographer, I get the unique opportunity to see the world from a different point of view.
Tennille and Mike met each other at church and became good friends then got married. Â A 7 year journey.
Their wedding was a traditional North American style wedding with Mike’s African culture mixed in. Â There was the ceremonial garments, a Tribal Elder performed a nut sharing ceremony and there was plenty of music and dancing. Â Amazing day.
I had more fun at their wedding than I had at their engagement photo session. And that says a lot!
Congratulations Tennille and Mike.   Thanks for inviting me on a small but important part of your  journey!!
